Feedback Hub updated for Windows Insiders in the Fast ring to make sharing easier

Microsoft released an update for its Feedback Hub application today, which is heading out to Windows Insiders on the Fast ring. The new version number is 1.1703.971.0.

The new app adds the ability to directly share to the Feedback Hub from the Share pane. For example, if you notice a problem, you can take a screenshot, mark where the issue occurred, and send it to the app right from the Ink Workspace.

Once you do this, a Feedback Hub window will open and you'll be able to use that to submit your feedback, without ever having to open the app.

You're also about to get app notifications from the Feedback Hub, which will be turned on for older versions as well. However, the new version includes settings for these notifications within the app itself, which offer separate toggles for quest and announcement notifications. If you're still on an older version, you can always control the app's notifications through Windows 10 Settings.

Microsoft has also improved search from within the app. Now, typing something like 'Outlook.com' will match with 'Outlook' and 'Outlook.live.com'.

The new app is live in the Fast ring now, and you can download it from here.
