While Japanese gamers have been diving into Final Fantasy XII since March, we poor souls in North America have had to wait patiently for our version of the latest RPG epic -- without even knowing just when it will arrive.
Today, however, Square Enix officially settled the matter: the company announced that Final Fantasy XII will reach North America on October 31, 2006. That's right: you can start planning your cos-play Halloween get-up now.
For dedicated fans, Square Enix will also offer a limited-run Final Fantasy XII Collector's Edition, which features special packaging and a bonus DVD stuffed with Japanese and American promotional trailers, in-depth developer interviews, an art gallery, and featurettes covering the Final Fantasy franchise. Look for the Collector's Edition exclusively at EBGames and GameStop.
