Since word leaked out that a sequel to the drool-worthy Unreal Tournament was in the works, there's been more buzz in the gaming community than you can shake a chainsaw at. But it's true, and it's coming, and mouths are already starting to foam: Unreal Tournament 2 is now on the gaming radar screen.
Currently being developed by the veterans at Digital Extremes, whose resume includes achievements ranging from Unreal to Adventure Pinball: Forgotten Island, this long-awaited second part will be published by Infogrames sometime during the third quarter of this year. Like its illustrious predecessor, UT 2 will be a multi-player blastfest that will also give you the option to mix it up against a host of fiendishly clever bots. Up to 32 players will be able to humble each other online, and you can expect the usual game modes such as Deathmatch and Capture the Flag as well as Domination 2, Survivor and the intriguing Bombing Run.
