Microsoft has been gearing up for the release of the new Xbox 360 Kinect, the controller-less controller. The first Kinect commercial has surfaced on YouTube today, showcasing how the device is used in games.
The one minute long segment shows how the device is used in not only the living room, but the classroom and workplace. Kinect works by tracking your body movements and even facial features to control the player, car, watercraft and many other uses in the game.
Kinect can support multiple players, but will launch with games that are compatible for two players at launch, so you can go head-to-head with your friends.
Neowin previously reported of a Microsoft employee's prediction that Kinect sales will "blow away" the iPad. Kinect for the Xbox 360 is set to hit stores shelves on November 4 in North America and November 10 in Europe. The device carries a $149.99/£149.99 price tag.
Microsoft has already warned of short supplies, even some stores selling out of the device.
