Nintendo is adding a handful of new retro titles to the collection of games available through the Nintendo Switch Online subscription before the end of the year. This time around, five games are being added, four for the SNES collection and one for the NES collection, as the company seems to be running out of noteworthy games from that platform.
The headliner of this round is very likely Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble, the third in the series of games developed by Rare. Nintendo has released the Donkey Kong Country series throughout 2020, with the first game added in July and the second in September. Other SNES games added in this round include The Ignition Factor, where you play as a firefighter trying to put out fires and save people in buildings; Super Talis IV, a side-scrolling action game; and Tuff E Nuff, a fighting game.
5 more titles are coming to the #SNES & #NES – #NintendoSwitchOnline collection on 12/18!

On the NES side of things, the only addition is Nightshade, a point-and-click action-adventure game with some unique concepts at the time, like a popularity meter based on whether tasks were accomplished well or not. Higher popularity allows players to visit more areas.
The games will be added to the respective collections on December 18, this coming Friday.
