If you've been in dire need of an extra Vive controller or base station, HTC's official accessory web store has now made them available for purchase.
The HTC Vive was announced a little over a year ago and upon its release had a staggering amount of sales. Although HTC did have an accessory store for the Vive, it only offered some of the smaller components like face cushion, Link Box and miscellaneous cables. As mentioned previously, HTC has now updated the web store, offering some of the more important core components like the controller and base station. These accessories won't come cheap though, as the base station is priced at $134.99 and the controller at $129.99.
The HTC Vive and its accessories can be ordered directly from HTC. If you have yet to purchase a Vive headset and are thinking about it, we would recommend testing the performance of your PC, which can also be done on the HTC website.
