In July, ten and a half months after it was originally announced, Microsoft began selling Acer's Liquid Jade Primo in the United States. It launched the Windows 10 Mobile flagship as a bundle of products, priced at $649, including:
- The phone itself
- Desktop docking station
- Mouse
- Keyboard
Like other high-end Windows 10 Mobile devices, the Liquid Jade Primo supports the operating system's PC-like Continuum mode, making those extra accessories very handy. But less than three months later, Microsoft permanently cut the price of the bundle by 31%, reducing it to $449 in one of its infamous "special offers" that never really end.
But now, for one day only, you can pick up the same bundle for a good deal less... as long as you can get to a Microsoft Store.
As part of its 12 Days of Deals promotions, the company is offering the Liquid Jade Primo bundle for just $299 - but that 'Doorbuster' offer is exclusively available at brick-and-mortar Microsoft Stores. Online, the bundle is still priced at $449.
The Liquid Jade Primo's key specs include:
- 5.5-inch Full HD (1920x1080px) AMOLED screen
- Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor
- 3GB RAM
- 32GB storage (plus microSD card support up to 128GB)
- 21MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and 4K (3840x2160px) video recording
- 8MP front-facing camera with Full HD (1920x1080px) video recording
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
- USB Type-C connector
- 4G LTE connectivity
- Dual-SIM support
- 2800mAh battery
- 156.5 x 75.9 x 8.4mm; 150g
Alongside today's Doorbuster deal, Microsoft is also offering up to 47% off Alienware and Dell PCs and notebooks, as well as significant savings on a range of monitors and other peripherals.
