Microsoft has released the latest batch of Xbox LIVE statistics, which show just how popular the service has become since its conception over eight years ago.
According to Kotaku, it seems that on average more than twenty million users are logging into Xbox LIVE each day, bringing with them a whopping four billion hours worth of multiplayer gaming since the Xbox LIVE service launched eight years ago.
With around 30 million people using the service in general, there have been a host of gamerpoints achieved. According to Kotaku, Microsoft has said that around 6.3 billion achievements have been unlocked since the option became a part of Xbox LIVE at the launch of the Xbox 360 in 2005.
If you had been the only person unlocking these achievements, you would have gained a huge Gamerscore of 176,802,201,383 by now. Microsoft also stated that the average users Xbox LIVE Gamerscore stands at 11,286 currently.
Microsoft has been having a lot of success on the Xbox front over the past few days, with Kinect for Xbox 360 breaking sales records. Microsoft announced that 10 million Kinect sensors and 10 million Kinect games have been sold which Guinness World Records denotes that the Kinect for Xbox 360 is the fastest-selling consumer electronics device.
The record-breaking achievement showed that Kinect had sold 8 million units in just 60 days, outselling both the iPad and the iPhone along with every other consumer electronic device in history.
