The latest Halo: The Master Chief Collection Insider flight is currently testing Halo 3: ODST and Halo 3 multiplayer changes, with both PC and Xbox One players being invited this time around.
Now, much like previous flights, the pool of players is being expanded. Another 100,000 invites for the Steam version have been sent out to Halo Insiders. Those who have been selected should now have an email from Halo Waypoint waiting for them with instructions.
The flight, which kicked off on August 18, comes with access to six ODST campaign missions that are playable solo and in co-op, seven Firefight maps - a new addition to the Master Chief Collection -, plus new customization options and multiplayer hit registration improvements to Halo 3. Insiders can head to their dedicated Halo support portal to gain more information regarding this slice of content and report any bugs they might find.
The current flight is set to conclude on August 24, but extensions are quite normal for testing sessions. Gaining access to these test runs of upcoming Halo titles, as well as features, can be accomplished by heading to the Halo Insider portal and signing up. Once Insider tests conclude, Halo 3: ODST's launch on PC shouldn't be far behind, and following its arrival, only Halo 4 would be missing from the Master Chief Collection on PC.
