Galactic Civilizations II: Beta 4

Stardock has released beta 4 of Galactic Civilizations II. Galactic Civilizations (GalCiv) is a space-based strategy game in which players take on the role of leader of a space-faring civilization. Through technological, economic, military, and cultural power, players face off against up to 9 alien civilizations.

Beta 4 adds fleet combat, the diplomacy system, the economic manager, the combat viewer, and much more.

Galactic Civilizations II is expected to be released at retail in late February. It is the sequel to the award-winning strategy game of 2003 which won Editor's Choice awards from Computer Gaming World, Computer Games Magazine, Games Domain, and numerous other game sites/magazines.
