Samsung's Galaxy Watch4 series, the latest line of Galaxy smartwatches, brings feature updates for its users so that they can have an enhanced smartwatch experience. The latest line not only allows its users to personalize their devices by choosing from a myriad of apps and features, and a variety of customizable watch faces and straps but also offers them access to new features with a software update.
The latest update allows users to choose from a variety of watch faces and complications to build the watch face that meets their requirements. With four new faces, users can instantly access the information that interests them the most. You can also personalize the latest Info Brick watch face with information and stats, from daily activity status to stress and heart rate, that you need. The update also gives you the freedom to choose and customize a watch face that showcases live wallpapers inspired by Galaxy Z Flip3 and Galaxy Z Fold3, a basic dashboard, or an in-depth weather forecast.
Users can now customize up to four complications, from your step count and messages to reminders and battery life, to showcase on their Animal watch face. Steps Challenge watch face also gets more animations, including an animated bear. Gesture control now offers a new hand motion that will enable users to activate a pre-selected feature or app. The 'knock, knock' motion with your wrist will create a new reminder, turn on a light, or open the list of workouts.
With the improved Fall Detection feature on the Galaxy Watch4, users can "adjust the sensitivity so that it is capable of detecting a fall even when you're standing still". In addition, Galaxy Watch4 can also send out an SOS notification to up to four contacts that you have selected beforehand.
Galaxy Watch users will also be able to enjoy a 60-day free Strava subscription. For more information about the Galaxy Watch4 Classic and Galaxy Watch4, head over to the dedicated webpages here and here, respectively.
