Two weeks following the previous Games with Gold drop, another couple of games have gone free for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members. Sticking to the previously announced schedule, the newest games on the promotion are The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 and Armed and Dangerous, with Xbox One owners gaining both games while Xbox 360 players receive the latter.
A Gold activated account can be used to claim the duo using the store links listed below:
The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (Xbox One)
Legend foretold it. Prophecies predicted it. Chosen ones chose to believe in it. Now the fantasy spoof adventure saga continues. Join Wilbur, Ivo, Nate and Critter in another classic point-and-click adventure in the wicked world of Aventasia. Help them fulfill their destiny. A destiny as yet unwritten.
Armed and Dangerous (Xbox 360 and Xbox One)
Meet the Lionhearts, a smack-talking rag-tag band of rebels bound on an impossible quest. They're destined for victory in 12,000 bullets or less. If they can make it through an army of psychotic robots and wall-smashing Goliaths, they just might save the world ... If they don't burn it down first.
Xbox One owners who missed out on The Division from the earlier Games with Gold wave still have until September 30 to claim the Ubisoft title before it is replaced with the October arrivals.
Keep in mind that Xbox 360 games claimed via a Games with Gold promotion will continue being available even if the Gold subscription is discontinued. However, claimed Xbox One games are only playable while the account has an active subscription.
