Xbox Live Gold members don't have to wait until July 1 to grab the next wave of free games, as Microsoft has pushed out two games for them to claim already less than a day after the announcement. As part of Games with Gold, Xbox One owners now have Inside to grab, while Xbox 360 owners can get a copy of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
However, Xbox One owners can also grab the Castlevania title and play it natively on their consoles, as it is part of Microsoft's Backward Compatibility program.
Here are the two games' store pages to claim them right away using a Gold-activated account:
Inside (Xbox One)
Hunted and alone, a boy finds himself drawn into the center of a dark project.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (Xbox One, Xbox 360)
Uncover all the mysteries of Dracula’s castle with the full version including achievements, leaderboards, and multiple endings. Have you uncovered the true secret behind Dracula’s power?
Don't forget that Rivals of Aether from the June Games with Gold is still available for Xbox One owners, and is slated to be replaced by Big Crown: Showdown on July 16.
As usual, all claimed Xbox 360 games will remain playable even if the Gold subscription is discontinued. Xbox One games claimed through Games with Gold, on the other hand, are only accessible with an active subscription.
