Microsoft has a new Xbox Wireless Controller coming soon, and this one is red. It comes on the heels of the blue and Dawn Shadow models that were announced back in September.
Of course, the controller itself has been available for some time via the Xbox Design Lab, which allows you to customize the colors of just about every area of the device. The benefit to Microsoft selling these new pre-configured color options for the controller is that they're cheaper than configuring them through Design Lab.
The red variant showed up on Gamestop's website today, saying that it will be released on January 10, although you can pre-order it now for $64.99. Unfortunately, the listing also says that the new model is exclusive to the retailer, and that it will only ship to addresses in the United States.
If you're in Europe and you really want one, the region is slated to finally get some love from the Xbox Design Lab later this year. With that, Microsoft promises over eight million ways to customize an Xbox One Wireless Controller.
