As we start a new work week let's look back in the past few days on what's been happening in the PC, console and mobile gaming world:
- Activision has announced that the PC and PS3 versions of the Call of Duty Black Ops Annihilation DLC map pack will be released on July 28.
- Ubisoft has announced that beginning with Driver San Francisco in August all of the publisher's games will have a one time Uplay Passport code to unlock multiplayer and other content. People who own a used game copy can get the same content for the price of $9.99.
- Rumors have hit the Internet that Capcom will announce Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 at Comic-Con next week.
- Speaking of Ubisoft, it has quietly announced that it has canceled plans to release a Assassin's Creed game for the Nintendo 3DS console.
- A new cast member for Mass Effect 3, James Vega has been revealed by developer BioWare via Twitter.
- Check out an interactive map showing off the location of the upcoming stealth action game Dishonored.
- The Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta is over and developer Naughty Dog has revealed some of the beta's player stats.
- A analyst has predicted that Gamestop's digital download business could reach $1.5 billion in revenues by 2014.
- TopWare Interactive has announced plans to release Two Worlds II: Velvet Game of the Year Edition (the main game and the upcoming Pirates of the Flying Fortress expansion pack) in October.
- EA plans to borrow $550 million to help finance its recently announced acquisition of PopCap Games.
