Thanks xStainDx...While PCI-Express 16x is just around the corner to replace the conventional AGP, it appears that the good-old PCI that have been here for more than a decade is still alive. Believe it or not, but PNY Technologies recently announced its Verto GeForce FX 5200 graphics card for PCI slot, a definitely exotic solution nowadays.
The graphics card is equipped with a couple of VGA connectors, S-Video TV-Out and 128MB of DDR SDRAM memory. I especially point out that the graphics card advertised on PNY Technologies' web-site has 128-bit memory bus and thus should offer quite good performance. Unfortunately, we do not know the memory clocks, but the GPU functions at 250MHz, as I managed to reveal based on the fill-rate specifications.
Along with the good upgrade for an outdated PCI graphics solution for a system without AGP (such as based on i810 or i845GL core-logic), in the nice package you will get a manual and a CD with the GeForce FX drivers, Verto 3D World Desktop software,
