Microsoft has just revived the ‘Work & Play Bundle’, an enticing package consisting of a collection of one-year subscriptions to many of its services at a crazy low price. Offering subscriptions worth more than $500, the Work & Play Bundle costs just $150.
Today’s package includes year-long subscriptions to Office 365 Home, Xbox Live Gold, Skype Wi-Fi, Unlimited Skype calls, and a paid customer service plan. You also get a $60 store credit that you can use on the purchase of apps through the Windows Store, or spend it on games at Xbox’s store.
Using Office 365 Home subscription, you will be able to use Word, Excel and other apps on as many as five PCs, or Macs, or tablets. The subscription also gets you a TB of free OneDrive storage. Skype Wi-Fi will get you access to company’s sponsored wireless internet hotspots, and unlimited global Skype calls. Microsoft Assure, for a refresh, is company's paid customer support. When required, you can speak directly with an expert at Microsoft, and have them assist you with virus-removal, or any technical help that you may need.
Those of you who already have these subscriptions, you can extend them by a year using today’s package. And those who are out of budget right now (it’s the end of the month after all!), don’t worry as the company will likely announce another such deal in a few months. It had announced a similar deal in June earlier this year.
