Gigabyte confirms Nvidia deal

TAIWANESE FIRM Gigabyte formally announced that it had signed a deal to make cards using Nvidia technology.

We reported this when we were at the Computex show last month – the dead giveaway was that when Jen Hsen Juang was talking at the show, there were huge piles of Gigabyte-Nvidia branded boxes lying around.

The Gigabyte range includes six models, each with such mind-numbing serial numbers we won't bother listing them all. Suffice it to say they're basde on the FX5900, FX5600, FX5200 and MX 440-8X chips.

They'll be available in early November worldwide, Gigabyte said. Gigabyte and Nvidia elven ladies are now dancing around in gay abandon - this is an Elf and Safety warning.
