God of War was one of the larger releases this year for the PlayStation 4. The game has beautiful graphics, a thoughtful and emotional story, and offers plenty of action. Several months since its release, Sony has now released a blooper reel of sorts to its PlayStation YouTube channel, showing off some of the issues encountered during the development process.
The video entitled "Midgard Mishaps" gives us a rare look at some of the things that developers have to deal with when building games. God of War isn't a small game by any means and since it is quite massive in scale, it requires the effort of and involves hundreds of people. Naturally, when so many people are involved, sometimes all of the pieces of the puzzle just don't fit into place the first go-around.
The video shows off spooky facial glitches and funny moments with Atreus, wacky combat glitches with Kratos, a dance-off, and more. While the video is short and sweet, it's interesting to be able to get a rare behind-the-scenes look at a game, especially one as huge as God of War.
