Last week, Google started sending out invitations to the press for its next big hardware event, set to take place in New York City. As it turns out, this event will be taking place in multiple locations. Frandroid (via 9to5Google) is reporting that Google is now sending out invitations for an event in Paris at the same time.
At the event, the firm is expected to announced the widely leaked Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones. The latter of the two is expected to have a rather large notch at the top of the display, although some have speculated that those leaks have been an elaborate hoax by Google. Also expected is a successor to last year's Pixelbook.
While the event will clearly be happening in two places, it's unclear if Google has more venues in mind. The firm might be simulcasting it to various places, or it could be a live event in just the two locations. Naturally, we've reached out to Google for clarification on this, and we'll keep you updated when we learn more.
Update: Google has confirmed to Neowin that it has also sent out press invitations for events in London and Berlin.
