Google's unveiling of its third-generation Pixel phones is still likely to be several months away, but pieces of information about the upcoming devices keep surfacing, albeit unofficially. While it was previously reported that the phones' display will supposedly include a notch and a near bezel-less design, there was no word on their screen sizes.
Thankfully, we now have a clue on how big the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL's displays will be, courtesy of renowned leakster Steve Hemmerstoffer, going by the handle @OnLeaks on Twitter. Citing unspecified sources, Hemmerstoffer revealed that the smaller sibling will sport a 5.3-inch display without a notch and the larger one a 6.2-inch notch-equipped screen.
While the information remains largely unconfirmed, the leak may not be altogether far-fetched as the purported screen sizes somehow represent a leap from the second-generation Pixel devices. To briefly recap, the Pixel 2 sports a 5.0-inch display and the Pixel 2 XL a 6.0-inch screen. It makes sense for the next-generation Pixel phones to feature larger screen sizes, and the latest leak doesn't seem bad at any rate.
Additionally, recent rumors claim the Pixel 3 XL's notch will house a front-facing camera. Official details about the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL aren't expected to come out until October when Google will most likely take the wraps off the devices.
