Google Play Store could soon show gameplay videos from YouTube in game listings

Google is known to keep making small changes to the Play Store. The company does some A/B testing on the store and then depending on the feedback and test results, it rolls out the changes to all Android users. This time around, the company is testing a new 'Watch others play' feature in the Play Store for game listings.

The company is seemingly surfacing gameplay videos from YouTube for popular games on the Play Store. As can be seen from the screenshot below, the 'Watch others play' section shows a carousel of gameplay videos from YouTube for PUBG Mobile. This is the first time that we are seeing signs of Google integrating two of its popular services in this way. Showcasing gameplay videos from YouTube for popular games is definitely an interesting move from the company.

As of now, other details about this feature are not yet known. It is also unclear if the videos being shown in the carousel are handpicked by Google or it is just showing the popular gameplay videos from YouTube for a particular game. The feature has not shown up yet on our Android devices, though that could change once the company starts a wider rollout of this feature.
