Google has published its latest monthly Android security bulletin, and released new factory and OTA images, which include its most recent security patches, for supported Nexus and Pixel devices.
There are two separate security patch level strings in the new bulletin "to provide Android partners with the flexibility to more quickly fix a subset of vulnerabilities that are similar across all Android devices", Google said.
While Google only published details of the new security update last night, some manufacturers had already begun pushing the new patches to their devices a couple of days ago. HMD Global, for example, released the July security update for the Nokia 6 on Tuesday.
These are the latest build numbers for each supported Nexus and Pixel device still eligible for security updates:
- Nexus 5X: N2G47Z
- Nexus 6: N6F27H
- Nexus 6P: N2G48B
- Nexus 9 (LTE): N9F27F
- Nexus 9 (Wi-Fi): N4F27I
- Nexus Player: N2G48B
- Pixel / Pixel XL: NJH47D
- Pixel / Pixel XL (Deutsche Telekom): NZH54B
- Pixel / Pixel XL (T-Mobile/Project Fi): NKG47M
- Pixel / Pixel XL (Verizon): NHG47O
- Pixel C: N2G48B
The latest OTA binary image files for supported Nexus and Pixel devices can be found here on Google's site, and the new system images are available here.
