Google is looking at taking its online advertising program into print. The Internet search leader, which draws the bulk of its revenue from online advertising, said it has bought advertising space in PC Magazine, only to turn around and resell the space to some online clients who place Web ads with Google.
"Google is testing a program to place ads from our advertising network into U.S. print publications," Google spokesman Michael Mayzel said. "This limited test is part of Google's continuing effort to develop new ways to provide effective and useful advertising to advertisers, publishers and users," he said.
