Google is readying a YouTube stream for an announcement for a “new Google Pay” that is set to premiere tomorrow, 18 November, at 9:27 AM PT/12:27 PM ET. The reveal is likely for a heavily redesigned app that is built on Flutter, in line with the offering that is currently available in beta form in India, which might also bring a bunch of features to the firm’s digital payment solution.
The search giant has been working to add a host of new features to its service, with the company promising the addition of the ability to create bank accounts next year, thanks to partnerships with eight banks. The increased emphasis recently on such smartphone-based banking functionalities could hint at more features on the way. Additionally, there have been rumors of a smart debit card in the works that will rival the likes of Apple Card, but it is not clear if such an announcement is slated for tomorrow’s premier.

There is not much in the way of information on the YouTube stream’s description either, with it just hinting at an app that is “designed to help you improve your relationship with money”. The Google Pay Twitter account is also teasing a redesigned app.
It will be interesting to see what the Mountain View giant has in store for users of its payment service tomorrow.
