Officially, Guild Wars 2 is not supposed to launch until Tuesday but people who pre-purchased the long awaited fantasy MMO sequel can now get early access to the game's servers. However, many of those players have experienced issues in connecting to the game in the "early access" event.
Developer ArenaNet and publisher NCsoft are currently dealing with these pre-launch issues in Guild Wars 2. In a post on the game's Facebook page, ArenaNet offers up an update on their work in dealing with the game's pre-launch bugs.
The post states, "Our number one priority at present is to fix issues that are preventing players from accessing the game." Players who are seeing errors that have the numbers 7, 21, 58 and 1038 are directed to go to one of Guild Wars 2's support pages for more information.
The page added:
We are also aware of some players receiving errors resulting in code 1032 that is related with world transfer operations. These transfers are working but experiencing some delays, please refrain from trying to transfer if you are currently able to play. We also have a team working on this issue as a priority.
ArenaNet is also working to fix problems with the game's "trading post system, guild issues and party issues on overflow servers."
