Gamespy has a preview of the upcoming PS2 version of half-life.
It's been almost four years since Gordon Freeman first struggled into his hazard suit and watched his scientist chums at the Black Mesa Research Facility receive disgustingly inappropriate alien infestations. The resulting cavalcade of excitement resounded through the world of PC gaming, and lead to numerous add-ons (such as the multiplayer Team Fortress), fan-built "phenoms" like the infamous and highly-addictive Counter-Strike, and even attempts at console ports (the recently shelved Dreamcast version being the latest example). Now Gearbox Interactive are putting the finishing touches to the PlayStation 2 version of Half-Life, promising outstanding new features, and a whole lot of four-year old fun as non-PC users get to see what all the fuss is about.
