343 Industries announced last week that Insider testing for Halo 3: ODST is almost here, and now, the time has come. Halo Insiders on PC (via Steam or Microsoft Store) and Xbox One who have been selected can now jump in to test a large portion of ODST as well as some multiplayer changes that have been done to Halo 3.

Unlike most of the previous Halo: The Master Chief Collection Insider flights that were specific to PC, Xbox One players are also invited to participate in this session even though the platform has had the ODST campaign for years now. This is due to 343 implementing Firefight to Halo 3: ODST for the first time across both platforms.
From Halo 3: ODST, the flight sees Mombassa Streets, Tayari Plaza, Uplift Reserve, NMPD HQ, Data Hive, and Coastal Highway campaign missions, seven Firefight maps, updated customizations, and Theater mode being available. Included Halo 3 content include the multiplayer portion for testing new hit registration changes and ODST weapons.
Halo Insider program registered players who were selected to participate in this session should now have an invite waiting for them at HaloWaypoint. The flight is slated to run for a week, though judging by previous tests, extensions may be in the cards.
