There's some reasonably detailed snippets about AMD's plans up at AMD Zone, suggesting that the firm could well get its Clawhammer processor out in October, and saying that Barton is likely to be shelved.
We think the latter, at least, is true – roadmaps we published back in January seemed to suggest Barton had no place to go.
The difference in the AMD Zone Clawhammer story is that it suggests the chip will be released, and available in October, supported by an AMD chipset.
And it also suggests that the Claw-H will be priced similarly to the Athlon – we thing this is right too.
