Earlier today, Microsoft released new firmware for the Surface 3. At the time, there was no changelog available, but now - over ten hours later - we finally know what's included in the update.
The new firmware is different depending on whether you're running Windows 8.1 or 10. Here's what got improved if you're on Windows 8.1:

The version available for Windows 10 contains most of what you see above, but along with quite a bit more. For clarity, we'll include the entire changelog.

Today's update will be the first since June 22, and even that was only for Verizon models running Windows 10. Before that, there was a small update on May 31.
Microsoft also confirmed back in June that the company will no longer be manufacturing the Surface 3 beginning in December. According to the original statement, inventory is already limited. This raised speculation as to whether or not a Surface 4 is in the works, but there have been no credible rumors.
