Honor 20 series teased for May 21 launch in London

Besides its flagship family of smartphones, the P and Mate series, Huawei's sub-brand Honor is also knocking it out of the park in terms of both performance and its camera. The latest proof of this is the Honor View 20, which was announced in January of this year with a 48MP camera, a Kirin 980 SoC, and a 4,000mAh battery, among other flagship specs.

Honor now seems to be gearing up for the debut of its next smartphone, the Honor 20. The company has posted a teaser image on its official Twitter account, which suggests the upcoming launch of the Honor 20 on May 21.

The image contains a sequence consisting of mathematical terms all composed of number 4. When solved following the rules of math, the numbers amount to 521, which Honor says is the date of launch.

The launch will take place in London and it will likely also mark the global debut of the phone. Besides the cryptic launch date, the teaser reveals nothing more about what the device will offer. However, the number 4 may also suggest that the Honor 20 could include a quad-camera setup like the Huawei P30 series. Its specs and features remain a mystery for now, but we'll know more about them next month.
