It was almost a year ago when Honor released its most budget-friendly handset, raising the bar when it came to offering a quality design, coupled with good specifications and price. Now, it appears that the firm is ready to announce a follow-up to the Honor 6X.
The firm has now posted a teaser on its official Weibo page showcasing that the Honor 7X will be announced on October 11. It will be interesting to see how much Honor pushes the envelope this go-around since so much has changed when it comes to the expected design of a smartphone in 2017.
While there isn't anything in plain sight on the web page, the folks at Android Authority have noticed that the uploaded image to the website is in elongated 2:1 format. This could be an indication that the upcoming handset could arrive with a near bezel-less display that has become more popular over the past year.
As far as rumors go, the smartphone could offer a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a Kirin 670 SoC, 4GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. Naturally, we will have to wait and see what Honor announces, but luckily we won't have to wait long for that to happen.
