A couple of days ago, a leaked promotional poster indicated that Honor would announce a new handset in China. Although the poster didn't offer much in the way of specifications for the Honor 9, it now appears that the full poster has found its way online, sharing more information about the internal specifications.
According to the poster, it seems as though the Honor 9 will come with a Kirin 960 processor and 6GB of RAM. The device will also offer a dual camera setup on the rear that will house a 20MP and 12MP sensor. It is currently unknown whether one of the sensors will be a monochrome variant, similar to what can be found on the Huawei Mate 9 or its P10.
Naturally, we will have to be patient and wait until June 12 to see what kind of device the Honor 9 will be, and more importantly, at what price point it will be sold. Honor has been aggressive over the past year, expanding its handsets to a global market. Much like the Honor 8, one can only assume that at some point the Honor 9 will make its way to the US market.
