While there were leaks earlier in the month about the Honor 9 release, it would eventually arrive and be made available in China. Like some of Honor's previous devices, the handset generally launches in Asia first and later finds its way to other regions like the United States and Europe. While we have yet to see an official announcement from the firm in regards to a release in the UK, it appears that online retailer Amazon already has already spilled the beans with the handset being available for pre-order.
There are no images currently accompanying the listing, the online retail giant does have the specifications and the price listed. Although the specifications are nothing new, it appears the 4GB model will be coming in at £379.99. Below, you can see the description of the listing verbatim.
- Capture your life with a new level of clarity the 20MP + 12MP Dual-Lens Camera and 8 MP Front-Face Camera. Shoot videos in 4K resolution.
- Stunning From Every Angle. The Honor 9 is cradled by 3D curved glass with stunning and distinctive colours.
- An Audiophile's Dream.
- Fast & Smooth Experience. Thanks to the Kirin 960 chipset, which ensures a long time fast running experience, with up to 4 GB memory and 64GB storage
- Power That Lasts. Powered by a large 3200mAh battery and Smart Power 5.0, the Honor 9 will keep you going and going - up to 78 hours offline music playing.
As mentioned previously, while there have been no official announcements, Honor does have an event planned on June 27, where many speculate that the handset will make its official UK debut.
