During its release event for the Honor Play, Honor decided to deliver something unexpected: announcing the Magic 2. The handset was teased towards the end of the event and should arrive later this year.
If unfamiliar with the Magic line, it was first introduced a couple years ago, showing off the firm's ability to think outside the box. The design of the phone was quite sleek for its time and was probably one of the highlights from its presentation during CES 2017.
Although today's event serves as just a teaser for the Magic 2, the firm did show off the handset featuring a bezel-less display, which, to say the least, looks very impressive. Since the front of the device is all screen, Honor had to introduce a slider design to the phone, which will reveal the phone's front-facing camera.
Although there weren't many other details announced, the Magic 2 will arrive with a Kirin 980 processor and will offer support for its 40W Magic Charge solution. Honor will most likely hold another event by the end of the year to formally launch the Magic 2.
