Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerrilla Games have announced August 7 as the date of Horizon Zero Dawn's PC launch. It was revealed back in March that the massively popular open-world RPG would soon be shedding its PlayStation 4 exclusivity, and now we have a confirmed date. Check out the new PC feature showcase trailer above.
Support for widely requested features such as unlocked framerates, ultra-wide resolution screens, extensive graphics and controller customization options, and a benchmarking tool are included in the PC port. Dynamic foliage and improved reflections were also confirmed as enhancements over the PlayStation 4 edition.
The Horizon Zero Dawn PC version is the Complete Edition, meaning it also arrives with the Frozen Wilds expansion and some other goodies. Here's everything that will be included in the package:
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- The Frozen Wilds expansion
- Carja Storm Ranger Outfit and Carja Mighty Bow
- Carja Trader Pack
- Banuk Trailblazer Outfit and Banuk Culling Bow
- Banuk Traveller Pack
- Nora Keeper Pack
- Digital art book
Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition pre-orders are now available on Steam and the Epic Games Store for $49.99. The game will launch simultaneously across both stores on August 7. Guerrilla Games is also developing a sequel that goes by Horizon Forbidden West, which will be arriving as a PlayStation 5 exclusive.
