We're now just a couple of weeks away from the availability of the Xbox One X, the world's most powerful console, which is capable of playing games at true 4K. On day one, you're obviously not going to want to sit around downloading games, especially when those 4K assets may cause them to take up twice as much space, and therefore take twice as long to download.
Luckily, Microsoft provides an easy way for transferring games between consoles, and you have the option of downloading the 4K assets onto your existing console. You're going to want to pick up an external hard drive for this, which is supported via the console's USB Type-A port.
Then, you'll need to go into Settings and make sure you have the options turned on to always keep games up to date, and to automatically download 4K assets. Once that's done, you can begin transferring the games to your hard drive in preparation for your new console.
