HP today announced new refreshes to its ProBook lineup for small to medium sized businesses (SMBs). The new models are the ProBook 445 G7 and ProBook 455 G7, and the main feature is that they include AMD's new Ryzen 4000 processors.
The chips are built on a 7nm process, and offer up to eight cores if you go all-out with the Ryzen 7 4700U. Naturally, the chips have Radeon Graphics as well.
The screen comes in 14- and 15.6-inch sizes for the ProBook 445 and 455, respectively. The Full HD panels offer an option for HP's Sure View Gen 3 privacy screens, and the displays will get you 1000-nit brightness. There are other security features as well, such as HP Privacy Camera, Sure Sense, Sure Start, and more.
The clamshell laptops have an aluminum cover and a 3D forged aluminum keyboard deck, and HP says that the laptops pass 19 MIL-STD-810G tests. In other words, the new ProBooks are meant to be both durable and stylish.
Both the ProBook 445 G7 and 455 G7 will be available later on this month, but HP didn't announce pricing.
