HP today announced the ProBook 400 G6 series of laptops, aimed at small- and medium-sized businesses. The sixth-generation refreshed laptops include the 430, 440, and 450, which include 13.3-, 14-, and 15.6-inch screens, respectively.
One of the key elements of the new PCs is design. HP is promising an "ultra-slim chassis with crisp lines, clean edges, and a natural silver finish", along with narrow bezels and a 180-degree hinge.
And these are business PCs, so as usual, HP has quite a few security features. BIOSphere Gen4 is meant to protect the BIOS, and make it more manageable. These devices are also offered with 4G LTE, so you don't have to worry about unsecured public Wi-Fi networks.
All three laptops are offered with Intel's latest eighth-generation U-series processors, which are from the Whiskey Lake family. Along with up to a Core i7+-8565U, the ProBook 440 and 450 offer dedicated graphics in the form of an Nvidia GeForce MX130 with 2GB DDR5.
The new HP ProBook laptops will be available this month, starting at $589.
