There's no shortage of small Windows 8.1 tablets to choose from these days, and one of the best-known examples is HP's Stream 7, which was first announced back in September. Over in the US, Microsoft has regularly offered promotional discounts on the device, and in the UK, it's currently available via the Microsoft Store UK site for £74.99 - down from its usual £99 price tag.
But you can actually pick up the HP Stream 7 for even less right now.
Just enter the promo code jj446qqej at checkout, and you'll get an extra £25 off the tablet, bringing its total cost down to just £49.99. The deal is sweetened further by the inclusion of a free one-year Office 365 Personal subscription - which is actually worth more than the tablet itself, at £59.99 - as well as 1TB of free OneDrive cloud storage.
The HP Stream 7's key specs include:
- 7-inch HD IPS LCD with 1280x800px resolution
- Quad-core 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z3735G with Burst Technology up to 1.83 GHz
- 1GB RAM
- 32GB onboard storage (plus microSD slot)
- 2MP rear camera
- 0.3MP front-facing camera
- Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n (Miracast-enabled)
- 192.8 x 110.7 x 9.9mm; 353.8g
The device doesn't come with the cover shown in the image at the top of this article, but a white cover is available to buy on Microsoft Store UK for £19.99.
