Today, HTC announced that customers who purchase a U11 from htc.com or Amazon.com will get three months of Amazon Music Unlimited for free.
The news comes just a few weeks after the company introduced Amazon's Alexa voice assistant for its flagship handset. Obviously, both Alexa and Music Unlimited are meant to work hand-in-hand, so you'll be able to use the digital assistant to control your music playback.
While HTC promised that the U11 is the first phone to offer a hands-free experience for Alexa, keep in mind that the device does need to be unlocked first. In other words, you won't be able to yell at your phone from across the room to play the latest from Lady Gaga.
You can, however, now ask Alexa to play music based on activities, such as meditation, exercise, and more. Users can also choose specific genres based on an activity, such as, "baby-making jazz music".
HTC's promotion will run until the end of September, and you can check it out on Htc.com here.
