HTC's U11 is doing quite well according to the firm, now it appears that we have more details about its upcoming mid-range device which could arrive on store shelves as the U11 Life.
The U11 Life was previously revealed in a report that detailed its specifications and had the code-name Ocean Life. The folks at Android Authority have gained some new details and have a render that shows what the alleged handset will look like. As you can see, it looks quite similar to the current offerings but should come in a much smaller form factor with a 5.2-inch Full HD display.
Although smaller in size, the device will still pack an impressive set of cameras with a 16MP front-facing camera, along with a 16MP camera on the rear. What makes this mid-range smartphone compelling is that it will be packing the same Edge Sense technology that can be found on its larger sibling the U11. As far as power is concerned, it should include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor with 32GB of onboard storage.
While it will be a mid-range product, it will still feature luxuries like IP67 certification and will also come bundled with HTC's USonic earphones with active noise cancellation. If this is the case, there is a high possibility that the phone will not have a headphone jack and will instead rely on a USB Type C port for charging and audio output. Just like the last time, there doesn't seem to be any word on how much RAM it will come with, but it does look like the smartphone will be coming to retail via T-Mobile in the United States.
