HTC Trophy Windows Phone 7 coming to Verizon early 2011

A recently leaked document shows that Microsoft employees can sign up to get the new HTC Trophy running Windows Phone 7 through Verizon for $199.99 upon early launch in 2011.

Engadget posted the leaked Verizon document for Microsoft employees with the exclusive details of the phone. The original roadmap for the HTC Trophy was expected to land in 2009, but according to the leaked document, the phone will debut with Verizon in early 2011. In addition to the offer, customers (although this offer may not be available to non-Microsoft employees) get a free accessory.

The HTC Trophy sports the all new Windows Phone 7 operating system, with a 3.8-inch WVGA touch screen, 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash, 512MB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, 2.1 and Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR. The phone also has a proximity sensor, light sensor, compass, G sensor, virtual keys (back, start and search) 3.5mm headphone jack, surround sound headphone support and Quad Band.

Yes, the HTC Trophy from Verizon will support quad-band, so users taking the phone outside of the United States may do so.
