The second half of 2017 has been quite busy, filled with releases from the usual players like LG and Samsung, but also welcoming others like Essential, BlackBerry, and Apple. Despite the crowded market, HTC isn't quite ready to see the year come to a close without another release.
We have already seen what the U11 Plus will look like via an alleged render and a TENAA listing, so what about its specifications?
According to Evan Blass, who is known to have a pretty good track record when it comes to revealing information about unreleased devices, the HTC U11 Plus will arrive with a 6-inch WQHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, and will come with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The former will have 64GB of internal storage, while the latter will arrive with 128GB of storage.
As far as the camera goes, the handset will have a single 12MP rear camera with an aperture of f/1.7 and a front-facing camera with an 8MP sensor. Perhaps the most surprising aspect of the leaked information will be the battery, which is stated to come in at 3,930mAh. This is a huge number compared to previous offerings of the year and is almost on par with Huawei's Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro with their 4,000mAh batteries. Like its predecessor, it will also be water and dust resistance, and feature Edge Sense. Luckily, we won't have long to wait too long for the official reveal as HTC is set to announce something new on November 2 in Taipei.
