HTC officially unveiled the new compact HD2 today, the HTC HD Mini.
At a packed press conference in rainy Barcelona HTC unveiled the new HD Mini which it promises will provide the same HTC HD2 experience in a compact design. The HTC HD Mini includes a capacitive touch screen, 512MB ROM, 384MB RAM, 3.2" HVGA display, 5MP camera and the usual support of 3G and GPS. The phone will be powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 and HTC Sense.
“The demand for the HTC HD2 has exceeded our expectations, and the HTC HD mini fulfils a desire from some customers to bring the capabilities and experience of the HTC HD2 to a more compact design,” said Peter Chou, chief executive officer, HTC Corporation.
HTC HD mini will be available to customers across Europe and Asia beginning in April.
