HTC was finally able to formally take the wraps off its latest handset, the U11, to the public on May 16. Unlike the previously released U Ultra and U Play, the U11 packs top-end specifications including Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor. While pre-orders are now live for the device, those that want to have a look before considering a purchase will want to attend HTC's Meet U events that will be taking place in several cities.
HTC will be hosting fan meetups across the United States over the course of May and June. Although the one in New York has already been and gone, there is a total of five more events that are lined up for Atlanta, Seattle, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. You can see times and locations for these events in the image above and you can RSVP in the source link below.
If the features like the UltraPixel cameras, BoomSound speakers, or Edge Sense have you already sold, you'll want to order the handset and utilize the promotional code that will knock $50 off the retail price, bringing it down to $599. As mentioned previously, the phone is currently available for pre-order and it is expected to start shipping sometime in June.
