Today, Huawei announced four new MediaPad tablets, two from its budget T3 series, and two M3 Lite models.
The MediaPad T3 models that were announced today comes in 8- and 9.6-inch sizes, but are otherwise pretty much the same. They use a Snapdragon 425 processor, with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. They come with a "sleek anodized aluminum unibody design" with an HD display (1280x800) that has a 178-degree viewing angle.
Also in an aluminum body, the MediaPad M3 Lite comes in 8- and 10.1-inch sizes, although they're a bit higher end, with a 1920x1200 resolution, a Snapdragon 435, and 3GB RAM. Like both T3 variants, the 8-inch M3 Lite comes with a 4,800mAh battery, but the larger model is 6,660mAh.
But the larger benefit to the M3 tablets is that they include a "Harman Kardon audio system in combination with Huawei’s SWS 3.0 Smart Sound management." I was able to test this out last month, and they sound great.
