Huawei knocks $50 off the price of the Honor 6X for Amazon Prime Day

Today is Prime Day, which is the day that Amazon celebrates its Prime subscribers by offering them a huge selection of deals, which includes discounts on the company's own products. Huawei also announced a number of deals on its own products yesterday, including the Mate 9, Honor 8, Watch 2, and more.

But it's adding another one today, the Honor 6X, knocking 20% off of its regular price of $249.99 to a promotional price of $199.99. The mid-range handset includes Huawei's in-house Kirin 655 octa-core chipset, 3GB RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, a 12/2MP dual-rear camera configuration, and an 8MP front-facing camera.

Back in February, we reviewed the Honor 6X, giving it a 7.5 out of 10. We found that the camera takes great pictures, but the video isn't as good. Also, the performance and battery life were impressive; however, the display and speaker were listed as cons.

If you're in the US, the unlocked phone will work with AT&T and T-Mobile, and you can order it from Amazon here.
