As we start heading into the latter part of the year, Huawei is preparing its next release, the Mate 10. While there were some rumors, it was Richard Yu, chief of Huawei’s consumer division, that stated last month that the handset will be far superior in many aspects to Apple's upcoming iPhone.
During an interview, it was stated that “we will have an even more powerful product” and that “the Mate 10, which has much longer battery life with a full-screen display, quicker charging speed, better photographing capability and many other features that will help us compete with Apple.”
Using the very little information out there, Concept Creator on YouTube has put together a video showing off what could become the Mate 10, which you can view below.
Although we have no idea about how it will look like at this point, the Mate 8 and the Mate 9 shared very similar designs, and it could be that the Mate 10 could follow in the same footsteps. Of course, this hasn't stopped designers from creating their own interpretations, like the one above.
As you can see, the handset has a nearly bezel-less display but keeps in line with the general shape of previous Mate handsets. The render also shows off the dual Leica camera on the rear, along with a fingerprint reader and svelte design. Since this is only a concept render, the real product will probably end up looking very different, but we can all dream, right?
