The P30 series is fresh off its wraps, but new details about Huawei's upcoming Mate flagship device are beginning to surface on the web. And the latest piece of information is by no means a rumor, but some sort of confirmation from a Huawei executive in Malaysia who has spilled the beans on the Mate 30 series' unveiling schedule.
According to the company official, Huawei will be introducing the Mate 30 range sometime in September or October. The new information is not at all surprising, seeing as the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro were unveiled around the same time last year. Of course, information about the phone's specs and features is still under wraps, and the Mate 30 series is said to be in its testing phase already.
However, we've recently seen a number of interesting details surrounding the device. Unlike its predecessor, the upcoming Mate 30 range is expected to boast more than three cameras on the back, as suggested by a patent for its case. Additionally, the upcoming Huawei flagship is rumored to be powered by a Kirin 985 SoC.
These rumors are yet to be confirmed by the company, save for the launch window. Nonetheless, there's no doubt that the Mate 30 series will be packing a punch, as has always been the case with Huawei's flagship devices.
